Where is Pico De Loro (Mt. Palay-Palay) located? It is in Ternate Cavite but it is also in the area of Nasugbu Batangas. I can not say how to get there because the Pico De Loro as I heard is officially closed. And if you want to know the reason why all I can say is now why it's who. Why who? HENRY SY bought the area that's why Pico De Loro is now private and not open for public or for mounataineers who want to climb here. I still don't know the he's reason of buying that one and all I can say is maybe he want to build SM at the summit. I feel angry with that when I first heard from the people of Nasugbu Batangas that the mountain is closed because it was bought by Henry Sy. I've been waiting for it to open again but I'll never climb it again.
In fact, this is the only the mountain I climbed up and I climbed it for seven times for a couple of different years.
My first climb was with the Maragondon Cavite and Nasugbu Batangas's municipal officials. Almost all of them are oldies and we only have few adults or young in the group. I have a friend in the municipal of Maragondon so he asked me if I want to go withe so I grabbed the first chance I experience how to climb the mountain. After climbed the next day my body specially my legs really in pain. But this is not the end.
My second climb was with my two friend and it is also unforgettable experienced because we got lost in the middle of the forest while we climbing down and want to go home. My friend and I with other climbers was wrong turned. We feel like we're in the famous horror movie entitled WRONG TURNED. No cellphone signals in the area to contact friend and locals in DENR. But after few hors of walking and walking we found the way back to the exit and we finally went home safe and complete.
My third climb was with churchmate and we are all girls. More picture takings, more laughing while climbing.
I'm with my new friends in my fourth climb. They are all working in EPZA and I totally don't know them at first. They are friends and workmates of my friend so she introduce me to go with them to see and experience climbing. New friends, new experience.
My fifth climb was with couple and I'm single that time and still single now and it's okay no forever. Joke. It's nice to be with them and new things to experience like climbing with couple while I'm single and and their photographer. And it's okay even not. Joke. No forever. Bitter.
I'm with someone special I love before for my sixth climbed. And as I said forever is not enough me to love him. No forever, joke again.
And my last climbed was also with my friend together with her brother. I don't think that it will be my last climb in this mountain. I remember when I almost fall in the cliff for trying to be a Tarzan. Anyways, I will surely miss Pico De Loro. Sorry to those who never get the chance to see the natural beauty of Mount Pico De Loro.
